A high-spirited, non-traditional hip-hop artist with strong stage presence and genuine compassion for young people, Canton's music is thought provoking, his concerts are life changing - and both deliver a surge of excitement with every performance!
Hailing from Deerfield Beach, Florida, "CJ was introduced to music very early. The product of a music-inspired family, by age 5 he was already singing with a local quartet founded by his father. At age 16, he was producing his own tracks and those of other local artists. By the time Canton graduated high school, it was clear that his steps were being ordered. He relocated to Atlanta to attend Morehouse College and began singing with the school's world-renown glee club. This experience became the launching pad for a promising career and a wide range of opportunities.
